Pas besoin de longs discours, vous aurez rapidement compris qu\u2019il s\u2019ins\u00e8re dans la gamme Ocean du constructeur, aux c\u00f4t\u00e9s de la Dolphin et de la berline Seal, dont son design s\u2019est d\u2019ailleurs en partie inspir\u00e9. En tout cas pour la face avant et l\u2019int\u00e9rieur. Le look des feux arri\u00e8re, qui traversent la malle de part en part, \u00e9tant tout \u00e0 fait exclusif \u00e0 ce mod\u00e8le.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Le look g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de la voiture est plut\u00f4t conventionnel, compar\u00e9 \u00e0 une Atto 3 par exemple, avec un nez assez imposant entour\u00e9 de feux fins surmontant un \u00e9norme pare-choc, tandis qu\u2019\u00e0 l\u2019arri\u00e8re, la ceinture de caisse est assez haute.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Le Seal-U est bas\u00e9 sur l\u2019e-platform 3.0 du constructeur et mesure 4,78 m, ce qui le classe dans le segment C, en faisant un concurrent direct des Tesla Model Y, BMW iX3 ou MG Marvel R. Dans la gamme BYD, il vient donc combler un vide entre le petit SUV Atto 3 et le grand SUV Tang qui peut accueillir jusqu\u2019\u00e0 7 occupants.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.link2fleet.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/BYD-SEAL-U-059-scaled.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-1303643\" src=\"https:\/\/www.link2fleet.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/BYD-SEAL-U-059-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Qualit\u00e9 et raffinement <\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.link2fleet.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/BYD-SEAL-U-079-scaled.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-1303649\" src=\"https:\/\/www.link2fleet.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/BYD-SEAL-U-079-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/><\/a>Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 son empattement de 2,765 m, le Seal-U est un vrai v\u00e9hicule familial capable d\u2019embarquer sans encombre 4 adultes et 552 litres de bagages. Sa planche de bord s\u2019inspire de celle du SUV Tang avec bien \u00e9videmment l\u2019\u00e9norme \u00e9cran central de 15,6 pouces rotatif \u00e9lectriquement &#8211; ou d\u00e9sormais aussi manuellement. A noter que cet \u00e9cran est limit\u00e9 \u00e0 un format de 12,8 pouces sur la finition Comfort.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">BYD a particuli\u00e8rement soign\u00e9 la qualit\u00e9 des mat\u00e9riaux et la finition qui ne souffrent quasi pas la critique. Le cuir et les plastiques mouss\u00e9s sont omnipr\u00e9sents \u00e0 l\u2019int\u00e9rieur. Les si\u00e8ges matelass\u00e9s offrent un excellent niveau de confort. On notera, en plus, la pr\u00e9sence d\u2019un double chargeur \u00e0 induction pour smartphone dans la console centrale et de nombreux espaces de rangements pratiques.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Seul ombre au tableau : le syst\u00e8me d\u2019infotainment. Si le compteur digital de 12,3 pouces positionn\u00e9 devant le conducteur offre un tr\u00e8s beau rendu et donne toutes les informations n\u00e9cessaires \u00e0 la conduite, le syst\u00e8me de l\u2019\u00e9cran central fait grise mine face \u00e0 ce que proposent certains concurrents. L\u2019accessibilit\u00e9 \u00e0 certaines fonctions manque de logique et demande un temps d\u2019adaptation pour se familiariser au syst\u00e8me.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.link2fleet.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/BYD-SEAL-U-Interior-scaled.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-1303599 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/www.link2fleet.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/BYD-SEAL-U-Interior-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>500 km, vraiment\u00a0?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La sp\u00e9cificit\u00e9 de BYD repose sur l\u2019usage de batteries blade LFP (Lithium-Fer-Phosphate), plus s\u00fbres, moins encombrantes et permettant davantage de cycles de recharge que les batteries traditionnelles NMC (Nickel-Mangan\u00e8se-Cobalt). R\u00e9sultat, BYD promet jusqu\u2019\u00e0 500 km avec le Seal-U \u00e9quip\u00e9 de la batterie 87 kWh et 420 km sur la version \u00e9quip\u00e9e de la batterie 71,8 kWh. Dans tous les cas, la voiture embarque un moteur de 160 kW.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sur courant alternatif, le Seal-U est capable de recharger en triphas\u00e9 \u00e0 11 kWh, tandis qu\u2019en courant continu (DC), il peut recharger \u00e0 140 kWh (115 kWh sur la finition Comfort), permettant de faire passer l\u2019autonomie de sa batterie de 30 \u00e0 80% en moins de 30 minutes. Notons que la pompe \u00e0 chaleur est livr\u00e9e de s\u00e9rie sur les deux niveaux de finition. Le Seal-U est aussi l\u2019un des rares v\u00e9hicules \u00e9lectriques \u00e0 d\u00e9j\u00e0 prendre en charge la technologie V2L (Vehicle to load).<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Parlant de technologie, rien ne manque sur ce Seal-U en mati\u00e8re de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 et d\u2019aides \u00e0 la conduite. Le SUV a m\u00eame\u00a0obtenu 5 \u00e9toiles au crash-test de l\u2019EuroNCap.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sur la route, le Seal-U se montre efficace sans \u00eatre dynamique. Le confort est au rendez-vous, l\u2019insonorisation est excellente, mais la voiture procure assez peu de sensations. Son poids se fait parfois un peu ressentir dans les virages et lors des acc\u00e9l\u00e9rations.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Lors de notre essai, nous avons consomm\u00e9 en moyenne 17,8 kWh\/100 km sur un parcours mixte, ce qui nous aurait permis de parcourir plus ou moins 480 km avec une seule charge, soit presque les 500 annonc\u00e9s par BYD. La technologie semble donc efficace.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bref, le Seal-U fait son job et le fait m\u00eame tr\u00e8s bien, mais sans plus. C\u2019est ce qui en fera un alli\u00e9 parfait des p\u00e8res de famille qui recherchent avant tout un v\u00e9hicule pratique et spacieux pour embarquer toute la famille.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.link2fleet.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/BYD-SEAL-U-011-scaled.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-1303637\" src=\"https:\/\/www.link2fleet.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/BYD-SEAL-U-011-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Tarif dans la moyenne<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sur ce mod\u00e8le, pas de liste d\u2019options. Seules deux finitions sont disponibles, avec une batterie et un niveau d\u2019\u00e9quipements diff\u00e9rents. La version Comfort, d\u00e9j\u00e0 tr\u00e8s bien \u00e9quip\u00e9e, est disponible \u00e0 35.322 euros HTVA, tandis que la version Design, full \u00e9quip\u00e9e et avec la grande batterie, est affich\u00e9e \u00e0 37.801 euros HTVA.
