Si la marque a vendu 120.000 voitures mondialement en 2023, elle s\u2019est fix\u00e9e comme objectif d\u2019atteindre 320.000 unit\u00e9s par an en 2026. En Europe, de 22.957 v\u00e9hicules l\u2019an dernier, elle compte en \u00e9couler 35.400 en 2024. Il faut dire que la croissance de ce petit constructeur est exponentielle sur le Vieux Continent ces derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pour y arriver, KGM compte \u00e9videmment sur la gamme SsangYong, dont les mod\u00e8les continuent leur carri\u00e8re sous le nouveau blason, mais aussi sur de nouveaux produits. A commencer donc par ce Torres, un SUV de segment C disponible en version thermique, mais d\u00e9sormais aussi en full \u00e9lectrique, Torres EVX.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Batterie blade de chez BYD<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.link2fleet.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/KGM_TORRES_EVX-17.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-1305531\" src=\"https:\/\/www.link2fleet.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/KGM_TORRES_EVX-17-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/><\/a>Pour \u00e9lectrifier son nouveau mod\u00e8le, KGM s\u2019est alli\u00e9 au chinois BYD afin de profiter de sa technologie de batterie blade. Un partenariat qui ne concerne actuellement que ce v\u00e9hicule, mais qui pourrait \u00eatre \u00e9largi \u00e0 l\u2019avenir. \u00ab\u00a0Nous sommes ouverts \u00e0 des collaborations futures avec d\u2019autres partenaires, si cela peut contribuer \u00e0 augmenter la qualit\u00e9 de nos v\u00e9hicules\u00a0\u00bb, ont indiqu\u00e9 les responsables de la marque cor\u00e9enne.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Le Torres EVX s\u2019\u00e9quipe ainsi d\u2019une batterie d\u2019une capacit\u00e9 de 73,4 kWh et d\u00e9veloppant une puissance de 207 ch aux roues avant. L\u2019autonomie annonc\u00e9e est de 462 km en cycle mixte.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Cor\u00e9en jusque dans les d\u00e9tails<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sur le plan du design, ce Torres s\u2019\u00e9loigne des ex-productions SsangYong. Le v\u00e9hicule arbore des lignes plus carr\u00e9es, plus robustes, avec une face avant caract\u00e9ris\u00e9e par une ligne de LED traversante, qui lui donne un faux air de Jeep. Quelques \u00e9l\u00e9ments de design soulignent un petit c\u00f4t\u00e9 baroudeur, tandis que d&rsquo;autres \u00e9l\u00e9ments rappellent ses origines cor\u00e9ennes. Le dessin d\u2019un insert en plastique noir dans le pare-choc avant et des feux arri\u00e8res font en effet r\u00e9f\u00e9rence aux symboles repris sur le drapeau sud-cor\u00e9en.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Son montant C, large et d\u2019une couleur distincte du reste de la carrosserie, rend ce Torres EVX reconnaissable d\u00e8s le 1er coup d\u2019\u0153il.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.link2fleet.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/KGM_TORRES_EVX-9-scaled.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-1305515\" src=\"https:\/\/www.link2fleet.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/KGM_TORRES_EVX-9-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Espace royal<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A l\u2019int\u00e9rieur, l\u2019ambiance est feutr\u00e9e. La qualit\u00e9 des mat\u00e9riaux est en hausse par rapport aux pr\u00e9c\u00e9dentes productions du constructeur, mais on regrette encore l\u2019usage de plastiques durs et un assemblage un peu approximatif \u00e0 certains endroits.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Le confort des si\u00e8ges est tr\u00e8s bon et, gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 son empattement de 2.680 mm, le Torres chouchoute ses passagers avec un espace int\u00e9rieur royal, notamment un tr\u00e8s bel espace aux jambes et une garde au toit \u00e9lev\u00e9e. Le coffre affiche 703 litres et m\u00eame 839 si on prend en compte l\u2019espace d\u00e9di\u00e9 au rangement des c\u00e2bles de charge. La voiture ne dispose pas d\u2019un frunk, mais vu la taille de son coffre arri\u00e8re et l\u2019espace d\u00e9di\u00e9 aux c\u00e2bles, l\u2019ajout d\u2019un frunk ne se justifiait pas vraiment.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Les limites du \u2018tout \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9cran\u2019<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.link2fleet.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/KGM_TORRES_EVX-3.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-1305503\" src=\"https:\/\/www.link2fleet.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/KGM_TORRES_EVX-3-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a>La planche de bord est \u00e9pur\u00e9e puisqu\u2019elle ne compte qu\u2019un seul bouton physique pour l\u2019avertisseur de danger. Tout le reste se passe via le double \u00e9cran qui tr\u00f4ne en haut de la planche de bord. S\u2019il offre un tr\u00e8s beau rendu visuel, il manque un peu de r\u00e9activit\u00e9 et d\u2019intuitivit\u00e9, probablement parce qu\u2019il est l\u2019unique point d\u2019acc\u00e8s \u00e0 toutes les fonctionnalit\u00e9s du v\u00e9hicule, dont l\u2019\u00e9quipement est extr\u00eamement riche. Tous les \u00e9quipements de confort, de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 et les aides \u00e0 la conduite sont pr\u00e9sents. Petit d\u00e9savantage de ce \u2018tout \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9cran\u2019, c\u2019est que toute commande demande de quitter la route des yeux pendant quelques instants\u2026 ce qui a pour cons\u00e9quence d\u2019activer instantan\u00e9ment un avertisseur d\u2019inattention du conducteur. Avertisseur que nous n\u2019avons, lors de notre essai, pas r\u00e9ussi \u00e0 d\u00e9sactiver malgr\u00e9 nos recherches dans le syst\u00e8me.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sur le volant, par contre, on retrouve un nombre incalculable de commandes qui permettent de naviguer dans les menus du dashboard. L\u00e0 aussi, il faut compter un certain temps d\u2019adaptation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.link2fleet.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/KGM_TORRES_EVX-1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-1305499\" src=\"https:\/\/www.link2fleet.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/KGM_TORRES_EVX-1-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Apprivois\u00e9 en quelques secondes\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.link2fleet.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/KGM_TORRES_EVX-18-scaled.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-1305533 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/www.link2fleet.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/KGM_TORRES_EVX-18-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/><\/a>Une fois derri\u00e8re le volant par contre, le Torres EVX s\u2019apprivoise tr\u00e8s rapidement. Il offre des prestations tr\u00e8s correctes, sans avoir un comportement dynamique ou sportif. Son truc \u00e0 lui, c\u2019est plut\u00f4t le confort de ses passagers. Les 207 ch de puissance sont suffisants dans la plupart des cas, m\u00eame si quelques-uns de plus ne seraient pas du luxe pour les d\u00e9marrages en c\u00f4te par exemple. Un petit manque de puissance qui a tendance \u00e0 faire patiner la voiture. Les palettes derri\u00e8re le volant offrent 4 niveaux de r\u00e9cup\u00e9ration d\u2019\u00e9nergie qui influent r\u00e9ellement sur le freinage. Le mode de r\u00e9cup\u00e9ration le plus \u00e9lev\u00e9 agit presque comme une \u2018e-pedal\u2019 et permet donc de se passer du pied gauche.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La voiture propose 4 modes de conduite (Eco, Comfort, Sport et Winter), mais nous avons d\u00fb nous contenter du mode Comfort durant notre test, faute d\u2019avoir trouv\u00e9 comment switcher vers un autre.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Quant \u00e0 l\u2019autonomie, nous avons d\u00e9marr\u00e9 avec une batterie charg\u00e9e \u00e0 90% qui affichait 410 km. Apr\u00e8s 160 km effectu\u00e9s sur un parcours mixte, notre v\u00e9hicule promettait une autonomie restante d\u2019un peu plus de 200 km, ce qui parait totalement en coh\u00e9sion compar\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019autonomie officielle annonc\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Bilan fleet<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A l\u2019heure actuelle, KGM n\u2019a pas encore communiqu\u00e9 le prix officiel de son Torres EVX, mais la version d\u2019entr\u00e9e de gamme devrait se positionner sous la barre des 40.000 euros TVAC, une fois les ristournes r\u00e9duites. De quoi permettre au mod\u00e8le de profiter de la prime flamande aux EV\u2019s et d\u2019entrer dans de nombreux budgets fleet.
