Pas forc\u00e9ment dans le sens positif du terme. Il faut un peu de temps \u00e0 notre regard pour s\u2019habituer \u00e0 un format qui s\u2019\u00e9loigne de ceux qu\u2019on a l\u2019habitude de croiser sur la route. Malgr\u00e9 sa longueur de 4,69m, la 408 n\u2019est pas une berline, ce n\u2019est pas non plus un SUV contrairement \u00e0 ce que laisserait \u00e0 penser sa hauteur de caisse, ni un coup\u00e9 malgr\u00e9 sa ligne de toit plongeante vers l\u2019arri\u00e8re. La 408 est un m\u00e9lange des genres.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00ab\u00a0Nous avons voulu faire autre chose\u00a0\u00bb, expose J\u00e9r\u00f4me Micheron, Directeur du Produit Peugeot. \u00ab La notion de segment a tendance \u00e0 dispara\u00eetre, surtout avec l\u2019arriv\u00e9e des voitures \u00e9lectriques. Pour la 408, on voulait une voiture qui d\u00e9livre beaucoup d\u2019espace, du coffre, de la versatilit\u00e9. Soit tous les atouts d\u2019une berline et d\u2019un SUV r\u00e9unis, sans pour autant \u00eatre l\u2019un ou l\u2019autre.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mais \u00e0 en croire sa plateforme \u2013 celle de la 308 -, ses \u00e9l\u00e9ments de design, et son nom &#8211; un seul 0, alors que les SUV Peugeot en ont 2 -, on peut avoir tendance \u00e0 positionner cette 408 comme une version berline crossover de la 308.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.link2fleet.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/peugeot_408_testdrive_2211tc509-63871ceece3c7.jpeg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-1287557\" src=\"https:\/\/www.link2fleet.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/peugeot_408_testdrive_2211tc509-63871ceece3c7-1024x682.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"559\" height=\"372\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>La Peugeot la plus habitable<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.link2fleet.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/peugeot_408phev_2206styp_102-62b2e8b950629.jpeg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-1287567\" src=\"https:\/\/www.link2fleet.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/peugeot_408phev_2206styp_102-62b2e8b950629-300x200.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/><\/a>Sur le plan visuel, la 408 inaugure aussi une nouvelle \u00e8re pour Peugeot avec sa calandre color\u00e9e, qui devrait se retrouver sur toutes les futures productions de la marque, ainsi que des lignes tr\u00e8s tendues, comme taill\u00e9es au couteau, et 3 griffes dans ses feux arri\u00e8res. Elle emprunte \u00e0 l\u2019univers des SUV Peugeot les grandes jantes (19 ou 20 pouces au look disruptif) ainsi que ses protections plastiques noires sur les bas de caisse et en ajoute une dans son pare-choc arri\u00e8re. Si celle-ci peut paraitre assez imposante, les designers de Peugeot l\u2019expliquent par le fait qu\u2019elle sert \u00e0 r\u00e9duire visuellement la longueur du v\u00e9hicule. Un spoiler arri\u00e8re en forme d\u2019oreilles de chat a \u00e9t\u00e9 ajout\u00e9 pour accentuer l\u2019a\u00e9rodynamisme de la voiture.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">L\u2019int\u00e9rieur est inspir\u00e9 de la 308, avec notamment l\u2019i-cockpit cher \u00e0 Peugeot, un \u00e9cran tactile de 10\u2019 plus interactif et ergonomique et des commandes de raccourcis personnalisables. Le coffre fait 536 litres (471 sur la version PHEV). L\u2019habitabilit\u00e9 est clairement l\u2019un des points forts de cette 408, puisqu\u2019elle est la Peugeot qui affiche le plus g\u00e9n\u00e9reux espace \u00e0 l\u2019arri\u00e8re, bien que l\u2019assise reste assez basse.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Bye bye diesel<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.link2fleet.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/peugeot_408_testdrive_2211tc527-63871cebce520.jpeg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-1287559\" src=\"https:\/\/www.link2fleet.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/peugeot_408_testdrive_2211tc527-63871cebce520-300x200.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/><\/a>Sous son capot, la 408 propose un moteur essence 1.2 PureTech 130 et deux PHEV combinant le moteur 1.6 PureTech avec un moteur \u00e9lectrique pour une puissance de soit 180 ou 225 ch. Une version mild-hybrid viendra compl\u00e9ter la gamme en 2024, et une full \u00e9lectrique l\u2019ann\u00e9e suivante. Et le diesel\u00a0? Il n\u2019y en a tout simplement plus. La 408 est donc la toute premi\u00e8re Peugeot \u00e0 renvoyer cette motorisation au placard, tout comme la bo\u00eete manuelle d\u2019ailleurs.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pour cette premi\u00e8re prise en main dans la r\u00e9gion de Sitges, c\u2019est la version PHEV 225 ch qui nous \u00e9tait propos\u00e9e. Et autant nous \u00e9tions n\u00e9gativement \u00e9tonn\u00e9s par le design de la voiture, autant d\u00e8s les premiers tours de roues, son comportement de conduite nous a s\u00e9duits. Malgr\u00e9 son format, la voiture ne prend pas de roulis et ne s\u2019\u00e9crase absolument pas dans les virages. Elle peut m\u00eame se montrer dynamique dans certaines situations, sans jamais mettre \u00e0 mal le confort de ses occupants. Son moteur se montre assez silencieux, except\u00e9 lors de certaines acc\u00e9l\u00e9rations un peu trop franches, mais ses 225 chevaux suffisent largement \u00e0 propulser le v\u00e9hicule. Si Peugeot annonce 63 km en mode 0 \u00e9mission sur papier, la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 tournera plut\u00f4t aux alentours de 40 km.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.link2fleet.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/peugeot_408_testdrive_2211tc503-63871cf23b916.jpeg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-1287555\" src=\"https:\/\/www.link2fleet.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/peugeot_408_testdrive_2211tc503-63871cf23b916-1024x682.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"426\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Bilan fleet<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La Peugeot 408 n\u2019est pas seulement un effet de style, elle inaugure une vraie nouveaut\u00e9 de genre, qui plaira certainement \u00e0 une client\u00e8le jeune et dynamique. Son espace int\u00e9rieur g\u00e9n\u00e9reux est un atout ind\u00e9niable, tout comme son comportement de conduite presque irr\u00e9prochable.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Son tarif \u00e0 partir de 35.900 euros pour la version essence grimpe \u00e0 43.800 euros pour la version PHEV, heureusement directement commandable.
