Avant de se transformer en crossover en 2015 et dor\u00e9navant en v\u00e9ritable grand SUV. Le segment des monospaces \u00e9tant tomb\u00e9 en d\u00e9su\u00e9tude, la d\u00e9marche de Renault appara\u00eet toutefois compr\u00e9hensible m\u00eame si elle implique quelques sacrifices.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Habitabilit\u00e9 diminu\u00e9e<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Techniquement tr\u00e8s proche du r\u00e9cent Renault Austral dont il reprend d\u2019ailleurs l\u2019excellente interface Google, ce nouvel Espace aurait m\u00eame pu \u00eatre appel\u00e9 Grand Austral. Par rapport \u00e0 celui-ci, il s\u2019allonge de 21 centim\u00e8tres afin d\u2019offrir une meilleure habitabilit\u00e9. L\u2019espace aux genoux de la banquette coulissante est ainsi tr\u00e8s confortable tandis que le dossier peut \u00eatre inclin\u00e9 sur 31\u00b0. On perd cependant la modularit\u00e9 offerte par les trois si\u00e8ges arri\u00e8re individuels typiques des g\u00e9n\u00e9rations pr\u00e9c\u00e9dentes. Quant aux deux places propos\u00e9es en option gratuite afin d\u2019accueillir des passagers suppl\u00e9mentaires, elles seront \u00e0 r\u00e9server \u00e0 des enfants ou \u00e0 des adultes souples pour de courts trajets. Le volume de coffre plafonne \u00e0 159 litres en version sept places mais il peut monter \u00e0 777 litres en configuration cinq places avec la banquette avanc\u00e9e au maximum.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-1294091\" src=\"https:\/\/www.link2fleet.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/Nouveau_Renault_Espace-2-300x208.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"285\" height=\"198\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00c9missions raisonnables <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Plus court de 14 centim\u00e8tres que l\u2019Espace de g\u00e9n\u00e9ration pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente, ce nouvel Espace ne peut ainsi pr\u00e9tendre aux m\u00eames capacit\u00e9s. Mais cela offre aussi ses avantages. Ce grand SUV se montre ainsi 215 kilos plus l\u00e9ger que l\u2019Espace pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 ses dimensions en baisse, mais aussi \u00e0 sa nouvelle motorisation hybride moins lourde que les diesels pr\u00e9c\u00e9dents. Cela permet \u00e0 cette derni\u00e8re g\u00e9n\u00e9ration de diminuer sa consommation et ainsi ses \u00e9missions de CO2 jusqu\u2019\u00e0 une homologation de 4,6 litres pour seulement 104 g de CO2 en cycle mixte WLTP. Voil\u00e0 qui int\u00e9ressera certainement les gestionnaires de flotte qui profiteront de la meilleure d\u00e9ductibilit\u00e9 fiscale sur les march\u00e9s essence, diesel et hybride (hors plug-in) du segment D-SUV.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>200 chevaux<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Malgr\u00e9 cette consommation officielle tr\u00e8s raisonnable, le choix de la motorisation du Renault Espace ne s\u2019est pas effectu\u00e9 au rabais. Sous le capot avant, on retrouve ainsi une cavalerie d\u2019une puissance combin\u00e9e de 200 chevaux. Elle se compose d\u2019un moteur essence trois cylindres de 130 chevaux ainsi que d\u2019un moteur \u00e9lectrique de 70 chevaux aliment\u00e9 par une batterie de 2 kWh. La batterie de cette hybride non plug-in se recharge ainsi lors des d\u00e9c\u00e9l\u00e9rations et freinages. Pour compl\u00e9ter ces deux moteurs principaux, un petit moteur \u00e9lectrique secondaire de 25 chevaux fait office de d\u00e9marreur \u00e9lectrique.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-1294089 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/www.link2fleet.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/Nouveau_Renault_Espace-3-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Consommation surprenante<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>L\u2019hybridation pouss\u00e9e de ce Renault Espace permet de rouler la majeure partie du temps dans le silence de l\u2019\u00e9lectrique. Bonne surprise\u00a0: dans des conditions favorables, il est m\u00eame possible d\u2019atteindre la consommation officielle de 4,6l\/100 km. Un excellent r\u00e9sultat pour un SUV de cette taille\u00a0! En cas d\u2019acc\u00e9l\u00e9ration pouss\u00e9e, on reprochera seulement certaines lenteurs \u00e0 la bo\u00eete \u00e0 crabots. Plut\u00f4t confortable et bien \u00e9quilibr\u00e9, le Renault Espace profite de roues directionnelles pour am\u00e9liorer le rayon de braquage et la stabilit\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bilan fleet<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>On pourra reprocher \u00e0 ce nouvel Espace de rompre avec les qualit\u00e9s d\u2019habitabilit\u00e9 de ses pr\u00e9d\u00e9cesseurs.
